Epic Wealth Management taps new chairman San Francisco Business Times - April 27, 2007 Epic Bancorp, which named a new chairman on Thursday, said Friday that Paul Schaeffer is the new chairman of its Epic Wealth Management unit. San Rafael based Epic Bancorp (NASDAQ: EPIK) tapped Carolyn Horan as its new chairman, and also as chairman of Tamalpais Bank. She stepped down from the Epic Wealth Management board as part of that new arrangement. Epic named Alan Bortel as vice chairman of Epic Wealth Management. That board has three members -- Shaeffer, Bortel and Mark Garwood, who is president and CEO of Epic Bancorp and Tamalpais Bank. Epic Wealth Management helps rich clients of the bank invest their money. |
