Tamalpais Bank Will Provide Nationwide Free ATM Access

Joins MoneyPass® ATM Network With More Than 23,000 Locations

San Rafael, CA - February 12, 2007 - Tamalpais Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Epic Bancorp (NASDAQ:  EPIK), today announced that customers now have access to the more than 23,000 surcharge-free ATMs in the MoneyPass® nationwide network.

The Bank, which operates seven full service branches in Marin County, said that the no-charge access is available to all customers who have Tamalpais bank ATM (debit) cards and requires no change in the cards or passwords.

“This is an important value add for our customers,” said Mark Garwood, CEO. “Now they will have access to their funds virtually anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, seven days a week free of charge.”

The Bank previously had a network of nine ATMs located in Marin County in its branches and two additional locations.  “We looked at various nationwide networks,” said John DeGaetano, Tamalpais Bank first vice president/regional manager, “before deciding that MoneyPass had the most to offer our customers.”

Bank officials said that customers can locate the most convenient branch while they are traveling by accessing www.moneypass.com and entering the city name or zip code of their location.  The current Tamalpais Bank ATMs will continue to be accessible to customers.
