Tamalpais Bank Announces 14th Annual
Heart of Marin Awards
Nominating Process Underway
For 2006 Recognition
San Rafael, CA—October 18, 2006 - Tamalpais Bank in cooperation with the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership of Marin today announced that the nomination process for the 2006 Heart of Marin awards was underway.
Now in its 14th year, the Heart of Marin Awards recognizes outstanding Marin nonprofits and the committed individuals who serve them. A panel of judges selected by the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership will evaluate the nominations and select winners in six categories:
- Achievement in nonprofit excellence
- Corporate community service
- Excellence in board leadership
- Excellence in leadership
- Volunteer of the year
- Youth volunteer of the year
Winners, who will receive cash awards, are recognized at a luncheon to be held, January 5, 2007, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Rafael. Nominations close October 30, 2006.
