Worth Magazine Recognizes Salient Financial Corp.
In the Top 100 Wealth Advisors in the US

Fifth Time Recognized for Prestigious List

San Rafael, CA - October 17, 2006 - For the fifth time, Salient Financial Corp. has been included in Worth magazine’s annual list of the Top 100 wealth advisors in the country.

Salient is one of only 17 firms identified in California.

“We are honored to be named one of the most elite wealth management firms in the country and to be distinguished from among the many firms in the Bay Area,” said Salient’s CEO and founder Richard Stone. “We attribute our inclusion in the Top 100 to a combination of our uncompromising investment discipline and our commitment to educating our clients.”

The Worth selection process begins with reader-nominated wealth advisors who have gone “above and beyond the call of duty in meeting their clients’ needs.” Additional input is sought from private banks, wealth management and investment firms and industry associations. Nominated advisors must demonstrate their ability to “intelligently discuss the current investment climate, the markets and their strategies for success,” according to editors at Worth.

“With changes mandated by the Pension Protection Act about to go into effect,” Stone said, “there are significant reasons for wealthy individuals and executives to re-look at their strategies with an eye to dealing with the issues of deferred compensation, protecting assets for future generations and new rules regarding rollover retirement packages. Worth recognizes that the advice that we provide our clients is both forward looking and timely.”
