Kentfield, CA - April 26, 2005 TOBIN & Associates, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2005, announced today that it had added three consulting clients during the first quarter of the year. The firm, which relocated to the San Francisco area in mid-2004, has been named the agency of record (AOR) BeWellMobile (www.bewellmobile.com), headquartered in San Francisco. TOBIN has also been retained by an Orange County-based communications firm to provide organizational and strategic support and by San Mateo, CA-based Command Audio (www.commandaudio.com) for public relations project work. BeWellMobile, founded in 2004, is engaged in software development for the wireless mobile telephone industry. Command Audio, founded in 1995, owns and licenses a portfolio of U.S. and foreign patents critical to the transmission, navigation and presentation of stored media for a variety of electronic devices, including products made by Sony and TiVo. “There is clearly a need for consultants with broad expertise in public relations, reputation management and strategy development as the economy continues to improve,” said Gary Tobin, the firm’s principal and founder. “The niche for TOBIN & Associates (www.garytobin.com) is companies and organizations who require external support but prefer to work with a firm providing more customized work than what is generally provided by a larger PR firm. “Our clients rely on us for as much of the work as they want to outsource within a reasonable cost environment,” he said, “while knowing that they have a knowledgeable, third party overseeing (and participating in) their marketing efforts.” TOBIN has long-time affiliations with similar agencies in New York and London.
