San Rafael—February 10, 2009 Leslie Harlib, a veteran food, wine and lifestyle writer, has become an Associate at TOBIN & Associates, a leading Marin County public relations and marketing agency. She will head the firm’s expanded lifestyle practice. Harlib, who lives in San Rafael with her son, Rory, holds a BA from Ithaca College and has an MA in International Administration and Public Relations. She is also an accomplished saloon pianist and singer, performing around Marin County. Tobin, whose PR and marketing career spans more than 30 years, spent nearly a decade working for a company (Heublein Inc.) that owned wineries in Napa and Sonoma Counties. He moved his agency to Marin from New York in 2004. During his career, Tobin also held senior management positions at American Express, MCI Communications and First Data Corp. His consulting clients include companies in the antique/collecting, alternative energy, high tech, grocery and financial sectors. Among his current clients are Woodlands Market, Tamalpais Bank, Claremont Rug Company and GoSolarMarin(SM).
