TOBIN & Associates Adds Three Clients During Second Quarter

Kentfield, CA—July 5, 2005

TOBIN & Associates, celebrating its 10th anniversary as a consulting, reputation management and public relations firm, today announced that it had added three clients during the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

Gary Tobin, principal of the firm, also announced that Dr. Steven Sullivan, a Ph.D. in economics, had become an associate of the Marin County-based agency.

The new clients are Bluestein & Associates (www.whiteybluestein.com), Bock Communications Inc. (www.bockpr.com) and the newly created Epic Wealth Management (www.epicbancorp.com).

“The business climate seems to be steadily improving,” said Tobin, “for firms like mine. We offer customized programs, which help other companies, take advantage of opportunities or deal with specific problems. More and more, there appears to be a niche for our low overhead approach which brings together senior level talent to work on short to medium term assignments.”

Tobin said his new clients represent diverse industries:

Bluestein & Associates, with offices in San Francisco and San Anselmo, CA, is involved in business and strategy development in the cellular and wireless industry.

Epic Wealth Management, a subsidiary of San Rafael, CA-based Epic Bancorp., provides family office and wealth management services and extends the business relationship that Tobin has with the parent company.

Bock Communications is an Orange County-based marketing and public relations firm with more than two dozen technology clients.

Dr. Sullivan, with whom Tobin has worked for more than decade on a variety of assignments, is the principal of Washington D.C.-based Creek Edge Partners. The firm develops communications strategies for companies, not-for-profits, federal agencies and state and local governments.

Tobin, who relocated his firm to Marin County from Bellevue, WA, in 2004, said he continues to be optimistic about the growth opportunities in Northern California. “While there certainly has been a shakeout among consultants in the PR and marketing fields over the past five years,” he said, “there has also been a more thorough understanding of the value of reputation management and brand building and the disciplines and skillsets required to accomplish both successfully.”
